Harriet and I were in the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Louisville this weekend. Aside from yanking on her to thwart her attempts to eat every piece of candy we passed and then doing frequent "mouth sweeps" to remove the wrapped candy that she managed to snatch (she's going to poop candy wrappers for a week!) and then carrying her when she got tired (she weighs a ton!), it was a BLAST! We had good weather, kinda cool and overcast, but not rainy! I had not been to this parade, so it was fun to see all the people get into the "Irish Spirit". Curtis didn't go and I didn't think to have anyone take a picture of me and Harriet while we were there, but here are some pics of the event.

This poor little pony was forced into the spirit!

These bicycles are called
Penny-farthings.
"Domino", a
Shamrock adoptable. This is the cuteness that Harriet has to compete against!

Another group of dogs (Farleigh Pet Center?) with two Great Danes that were Tyson look-a-likes! Love them!

Harriet was plum-tuckered after the parade. We probably walked a mile, but it felt like three!
